Christmas Celebration

The Christmas Celebration Prayer Service was solemnly organized in the school to prepare the hearts and minds of the staff and students for the joyful celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. The atmosphere was prayerful, reverent, and filled with the true spirit of Christmas.

The service began with an Opening Prayer, invoking God’s blessings and seeking His presence as the school community gathered together in faith and gratitude. This set a peaceful and reflective tone for the entire programme.

This was followed by a Bible Reading related to the Nativity of Jesus. The passage reminded everyone of God’s great love for humanity and the message of hope, peace, and salvation brought into the world through the birth of Christ.

The Intercessory Prayers were then offered, praying for the needs of the Church, the nation, the school community, families, the sick, and the less fortunate. Special prayers were also said for peace, unity, and goodwill among all people.

Following this, the Story of the Birth of Jesus was narrated, highlighting the humility, simplicity, and divine purpose of Christ’s birth in a manger at Bethlehem. The story beautifully conveyed the values of love, obedience, kindness, and faith, inspiring everyone to live out these values in their daily lives.

A meaningful Hymn was sung, praising God and rejoicing in the joy of Christmas. The hymn enhanced the spiritual atmosphere and encouraged active participation from everyone present.

The Prayer Service concluded with a Concluding Prayer, thanking God for the gift of His Son and for the blessings received during the celebration. The gathering ended on a note of gratitude, joy, and renewed faith.
