Our school held a triple celebration to mark Maharashtra Diwas, International Labour Day, and the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker.
The programme began with a prayer service for the well-being of all labourers and also thanking God for our support staff and praying for the well being of them and their families. The National Flag was the hoisted by the Principal, Chief Guest Mr. Naresh Sonawane, and other dignitaries, followed by the National Anthem and Maharashtra State Song – “Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha”.
To honour Labour Day, the management felicitated the school’s non-teaching staff – peons, cleaners, and guards – with gifts, thanking them for their service. A short speech highlighting about the dignity of labour.
The staff and students of the school took a pledge to make Maharashtra cent percent literate, committing to spread education in every corner of the state.
The celebration ended with a vote of thanks. The event inspired everyone to take pride in our state, respect workers, and value education.
