The Feast of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, the patroness of the Yellow House (Teresians), was celebrated with great devotion and joy. The lotus flower, the symbol of the Yellow House, represents purity, kindness and hope.
A Special Assembly was conducted by the Yellow House teachers, Ms. Liphina and Ms. Karishma, along with the students. The prayer service focused on the life and values of Mother Teresa, especially helping others, sharing, kindness, love and caring for those in need. The children were encouraged to understand the importance of these values and practise them in their daily lives. Special prayer intentions based on these values were also offered.
Our Headmistress, Sr. Macveena, addressed the students and shared more about the simple and selfless life of Mother Teresa. She encouraged the children to follow her example by being kind, helpful, loving and caring towards everyone.
The celebration was a meaningful reminder to all the students to follow the values and principles of Mother Teresa and spread love and kindness wherever they go.
