The feast of the Marians – Blue House, was celebrated with devotion through a Special Assembly conducted by Ms. Neetu and Ms. Archangela, along with the Blue House students. The Morning Glory flower, the symbol of the house, represented faith, hope and devotion to God.
The prayer service highlighted Mother Mary’s “Yes” to God and her qualities of faith, humility, obedience, kindness and trust in God. The children were also told about the significance of Mother Mary’s birthday. The qualities expected of every Marian were presented, their importance in daily life was explained, and special prayer intentions based on these values were offered.
Our Headmistress, Sr. Macveena, addressed the students and encouraged them to follow Mother Mary’s example by being humble, obedient, compassionate and faithful, and by always choosing to do what is right.
The celebration inspired the children to grow in faith, love, kindness and service.
